Education Community

Residents of the Education Community will connect with other members of the Towson University Community who are interested in pursuing a career in education.  This community will provide social and academic support structures to enhance and enrich the experience for residents interested in early childhood, elementary, special, or secondary education.  Residents will have the opportunity to participate in shadowing interns to learn about the Education major, connect with students, faculty, and alumni, and complete community service activities.  This community is a partnership with the College of Education and Housing & Residence Life.

LLC at a Glance

The Education Community is located in the Glen Complex. The Glen Complex consists of four high-rise residence halls and a dining facility. All student bedrooms are suite-style (two bedrooms with a bathroom in the middle; students in these rooms are responsible for cleaning the bathroom). Rooms are traditionally for 2 students. 

The LLC is open to all students having a major within the College of EducationIt is expected that community members enroll in the LLC section of the linked course, though exceptions will be granted if a student already has credit for a given course from advanced credits.

This LLC does not have an orientation that requires an early move-in.
