The Office of Civic Engagement and Social Responsibility offers workshops that develop participants’ ability to address the issues and challenges facing our communities, our country, and the world.

TU students, staff and faculty members can request the following capacity-building workshops for their student organizations, departments or classes. The Office of Civic Engagement and Social Responsibility also accepts requests to develop and facilitate additional workshops. To request a workshop, please complete our .
Workshop Offerings
Foundations of Civic Engagement: This workshop develops participants’ civic agency and introduces them to pathways for civic action.
Foundations of Community Engagement: This workshop introduces participants to important concepts and approaches to pursue meaningful community-focused collaborations.
Voter Education: This workshop provides participants with important information about navigating the political process, becoming an educated voter and engaging in advocacy.
Civic and Community Engagement: This workshop highlights the knowledge and skills necessary to integrate civic and community engagement practices into everyday life.
